Content marketing is an amazing way to interact with your customers. Of course, you already know that.

But did you know that 62% of companies outsource their content marketing? And did you know that 70% of consumers feel closer to a company as a result of content marketing?

All of these startling figures plus many more have been revealed in a new content marketing infographic from Demand Metric (link to the original coverage).

The infographic includes many figures about content marketing as well as content writing, or more specifically, how consumers engage and perceive ‘custom content’.

Some of the best stats in the infographic include:

– 59% of B2B marketers consider blogs the most valuable marketing channel

– 60% of people are inspired to seek out a product after reading content that covers it

– 60% of consumers enjoy reading relevant content from brands

As well as these insightful figures, the content marketing infographic also goes on to talk about the process of content marketing. I have included the infographic below for your pleasure.
