Secco Consulting

Secco Consulting case study

Industry: IT – Cyber security

Secco Consulting is a security network consultancy provider. They are a trusted partner and advisor to enterprises, notably in finance and defence, for security system design and implementation. They provide their services on a consultancy or advisory basis and work across the public and private sector. They are at the top of the game for cyber security and specialise in both new system design and legacy transformation.

The gig

We were contacted by the founder of Secco Consulting, Richard Kerr, about the possibility of writing new content for the Secco website. The existing content was just a placeholder and didn’t offer much in way of detail. We were asked to write new content for the homepage, services page, about us page and contact us page. In total, the word count only came to about 1,500 – but the focus was to be on quality, not quantity.

Our solution

We called Richard to discuss the brief and find out more about Secco Consulting. We discussed Secco’s services in great length during our meeting and the tone the copy should have. Once we were both happy with the brief, we began writing the next day.

We’ve a great deal of experience writing for the IT sector, so we know the importance of correctly understanding the architecture of what’s being written about. Security systems are one of our areas of knowledge, so we were able to write for Secco Consulting without assisted research.

We turned the project around in just three days. One revision was needed to fine-tune the wording. Secco Consulting is delighted with the work. You can check it out at the URL below.

Client feedback

I’m delighted with the content. Content hero captured the essence of my brand perfectly. I was extremely impressed with both the efficiency and quality of the writing. If you operate in the IT industry, I highly recommended them. Their knowledge of IT comes through in their writing and sets it apart from the rest.
