Autoweb is a leading UK vehicle search engine. Setup with a vision to create a marketplace where the public can advertise their cars at no cost, Autoweb is a great product and boasts thousands of users. You can list a car for free with Autoweb and get a free car valuation within minutes. Autoweb’s UX is excellent and we were delighted to have the opportunity to write for them.
“We want to reinvent our motoring website and create fun, engaging content for our users”
Autoweb contacted us because they wanted to leverage the power of blogging and create interesting, engaging content for their users. After sharing ideas and discussing the Autoweb project, we recommended creating a unique series of articles that would interest the motoring consumer. We’d already written over a million words for the automotive industry, so recommending blog post topics came naturally to us.
Four new blog categories filled with interesting, shareable content.
We decided that Autoweb would be best-served by four new blog categories: 1. Five of the Best, 2. Top 11’s, 3. Ladies Choice, and 4. Head to Heads. These would be filled with content such as “Five of the best route planners,” “Top 11 coolest things about Formula E,” “Ladies choice: Mini 5-door hatch review,” and “Porsche Boxster GTS vs. Porsche Boxster S.” Published at a rate of 2 per week, the blog was quickly filled with unique content, and it started seeing a traffic boost with Google in days.
We were recommended topics by the Autoweb team to write about, but mostly we created our own headlines. Of course, Autoweb had the final say on all content. User engagement increased on the website because of the content we created, and we helped Autoweb attract new customers. Our service paid for itself.
