To keep the blog updated with fresh, relevant content, and create compelling, search engine friendly product descriptions and website content
We were tasked with maintaining the GoPrint3D blog and creating new product descriptions and category pages. We were first contacted by GoPrint3D in 2015 to write product pages for a range of new 3D printers, materials, and accessories. Our first order was for over 100 pieces of content. After that, we were asked to write engaging content for the GoPrint3D blog, and we were given free rein to create the headlines ourselves. More recently, we have written product descriptions for an exciting new range of 3D printers and products from Robo 3D and Markforged.
A systematic approach to creating content, with special consideration for partner brands, product specifications and tone of voice
One of the challenges with creating content for a client with so many partners is keeping the copy balanced and impartial. It also needs to have a purpose. When writing blog posts for GoPrint3D, we started with a purpose, which was to either educate, inspire, convince, or entertain the reader. When writing product descriptions and category pages for GoPrint3D, we wanted to pack in as much information as possible to improve the customer’s user experience. This required us to write concisely, and develop a proper understanding of who we were writing for.
We perform all our own research when writing for GoPrint3D. This involves meticulously searching through websites, brochures, and occasionally contacting OEMs for more information. It takes time, but this way the content we write is always accurate.
